Hours, Times, and Tickets
Monday through Friday
Open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are limited, and reservations are required. Admission is free and visitors may remain in the Palazzo Comunale for a maximum of thirty minutes. Visitors tour on their own, and no guided tour service is available. Visitors may, however, refer to the virtual tour available at http://salestoriche.unesco.modena.it or book an external tour guide.
Saturday (non-holidays)
Open from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tickets are limited, and reservations are required. Admission is free and visitors may remain in the Palazzo Comunale for a maximum of thirty minutes. Visitors tour on their own, and no guided tour service is available. Visitors may, however, refer to the virtual tour available at http://salestoriche.unesco.modena.it.
Sunday and holidays
On Sundays and holidays, visitors are admitted to the Sale Storiche at 3:15 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 4:45 p.m., 5:30 p.m., and 6:15 p.m. Reservations are required. On Sundays, admission is €2.00 per person. Pay at the site. A brief guided tour is available.
For each entrance time, a maximum of twenty-five individuals will be admitted.

The City of Modena reserves the right to revoke access in the event of overcrowding or other circumstances beyond its control.Weddings and civil unions are celebrated in the Sale Storiche, and at times some rooms will be closed to the public for at least twenty minutes
